WayCon exhibiting at the “all about automation Friedrichshafen 2017”

At this year's “all about automation Friedrichshafen 2017” trade fair WayCon presented the complete range of its sensors, applicable in any automation process.
Positioning systems are nowadays an essential part in automation, e.g. the functioning of cutting machines or automatic feeders depend on precise sensors. WayCon Positionsmesstechnik GmbH has developed the draw wire sensors of the series SX to offer an excellent solution for these applications. The devices reliably guarantee the tracking and positioning of production parts or workpieces in cutting machines, even under difficult circumstances. The time for maintenance can be noticed in time and installing an automation using the control circuit “sensor – machine control” saves time.
To meet these requirements draw wire sensors of the series SX differ from regular sensors. They are more robust and compact while measuring still precisely. Despite the small housing dimensions the robe drum is equipped with two industry ball bearings, which qualifies the sensors for a high number of cycles and the use under harsh industry conditions. The robust mechanics and the high-quality electronics guarantee a long-term use, even if the protection class IP67 is required.
Examples for typical applications of these sensors are: automated gates, water gates, the packaging industry, cutting and welding machines, mobile cranes, lift trucks, or scissor lifts.
